Abstract

“La globalización: el olvido del dolor del mundo” (Iñaki Marieta). The globalization, economic and socio technological contemporaneous phenomenon has its onthological roots in Parmenides. Roots which make it become destiny of the Western world in its metaphysics and technological form, forgetting the essential grief which hides the triumph of the global connectivity. Only the poets’ word can name the fold of such destiny without being eliminated by the metaphysics: condition for Μνημοσύνη to activate the possibility of a new beginning.
