Resumen
Abstract: This paper analyzes the possibilities of artistic creation, of literature in particular, to provide our experience with ethical imagination. In three works of Thomas Mann —Tristan, Tonio Kröger and Death in Venice— the author shows the conflict of the artist in the modern world and its relationship with the ethical configuration of the existence. Hence, the central question is, how can language help in the configuration of our morality?
